Designing for Inclusion of Girls in EdTech

Will there be any moms?

My daughter recently asked if there would be any mom’s helping with an after school robotics club.  Her question stopped me in my tracks, and has spurred my thinking about how we create spaces for learning computer science that are inclusive to girls. I have been speaking around New England on this topic

  • ACTEM: Association of Computer Educators in Maine
  • MassCue 2017
  • EdTechTeacher Summit in Boston
  • New Hampshire

Here is the resource document I am sharing in hopes that it will provide more ideas to get us all started with tackling the issue.  Please comment to add new resources, or tweet them to me at @johannaprince
